What Sets Our Approach Apart

Literacy, Not Predictions

We build understanding of how the market works rather than telling you when to buy or sell. The decisions belong to you.

Designed for Midlife Residents

Content shaped around the property questions that arise in your forties and fifties — not generic content aimed at first-time buyers in their twenties.

Honest About Complexity

Cross-border issues, tax implications, and long-term management decisions are presented plainly — without false simplification or discouraging jargon.

Practical Written Work

Some courses include written exercises that you can use in real conversations with lawyers, bankers, or agents. Education that produces something tangible.

Preparation for Professionals

Our programmes are explicitly designed to help you get more from your time with solicitors and financial advisers — not to replace that advice.

Grounded in Hong Kong Context

All content is specific to the HK legal and regulatory environment, with the GBA programme covering the particular complexities faced by Hong Kong residents.

Ready to Approach Property With More Clarity?

Whether you have a specific question or are simply working out which course might be a good fit, we are glad to have a conversation. No pressure — just a straightforward exchange.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who are these courses designed for?
The programmes are intended for Hong Kong residents — typically in their forties and fifties — who own property, are thinking seriously about a purchase, or hold investment property and want to think through what managing it properly involves. The pace and language are suited to adults who have full professional lives and are not property specialists.
Do I need prior knowledge of property or finance?
No prior background is assumed. The Foundations course is a sensible starting point if you are newer to the topic; the GBA and Rental Management courses do assume you have some familiarity with basic HK property concepts, so many participants take Foundations first.
Where and how are the courses delivered?
Sessions are held at our Causeway Bay office at Tower 535, 535 Jaffe Road. Please contact us to discuss current scheduling and whether any online options are available for particular programmes.
Will the course tell me whether to buy or sell?
No — and this is by design. Our programmes build your understanding of how the market operates, what the relevant structures and costs are, and what questions to bring to professionals. We do not offer investment advice or make timing calls. Those decisions remain yours.
What is the time commitment each week?
Each programme is structured around one session per week plus some reading and optional exercises between sessions. The Foundations course is the lightest; the Rental Management programme, being the longest and most practical, involves more work between sessions, particularly around the management plan.
Is the GBA course suitable if I do not yet hold GBA property?
Yes. The programme covers the considerations and process for those thinking about a cross-border purchase as well as those who already hold property. Working through the ownership structures and tax treatment in advance is often more useful than trying to understand them mid-transaction.
What is the refund or cancellation policy?
Please enquire directly for the current terms. We will explain the policy clearly before you confirm a place on any programme, and we aim to be reasonable about circumstances that change before a course begins.
